Hello people! Exams just over, i know you're all down, so how about we go out and play some games to vent out the stress and recharge our batteries?

According to Mdm sng (she msged us during our class bbq 4 weeks back), there's a place where you can book and use several sports facilities as a "civil sector worker" so yeah, we can go there and play BOWLING.


Anyone interested? If there's like a big enough group, i'll inform mdm sng then we can go =DDD

1- take bus 80 from bustop OPPOSITE GM. After traveling for about 10 minutes, ALIGHT when you see a garden on your left (green in colour) called 'Yu Hua Yuan' (Some Garden).

From Paya Lebar:
2- Take bus 24, 76, 70, 43 from the bus stop OPPOSITE Paya lebar mrt, after riding for about 15~20 minutes, drop after you see 'YI HUA YUAN' (some garden)

From Serangoon:
3- Take bus 22, 43, 70 from a bustop Serangoon MRT,
then travel 4 stops until you reach a bustop opposite 'YU HUA YUAN'

Take note: DO ask the busdriver how to get to 'YI HUA YUAN'

Yes yes, we're gonna have a class bbq (again) and this time, it'll PROBABLY be at kwek's house (we're currently negotiating with kwek's overlords to allow us, homeless kids, stay for the night) We currently narrowed down to 4 choices:

30th~31st May

(Friday Night till Sat morning)

Lastly, I know how we're biased and crap that we've been planning these things on JC HOLIDAYS, but the fact of the matter is, most polys have NON-CONFORMED holidays, so setting it on their holidays will affect (JC + some poly ppl) Sides, it's on a weekend, don't say I don't try to include you guys ;p

Hi everyone. It has been a long time since I last posted. I have been busy doing all the backing up and server admin stuff for Sweet Patronus right after my A level Chinese and Project Work. I'm glad Project Work has ended but I think I may have to start a new cycle of project work next year as I may be joining some competitions next year. (I'm not sure whether I can join or not. It depends on my schedule.)

Wayne, I think you are plain crazy. Why did you choose to work during your A level year? Are you crazy or going to be? Did you realise that you have a lot of things to do next year??? It's good to see you taking up 2 CCAs and 3 leadership positions because I know you can do it. But work after school? You sound just like another friend of mine.

Oh ya. On a happier note, I have been making 10 cents for clicking ads online and lots of Jot$ and ddpoints which I hope to invest in something. Hopefully, all my investments won't go to waste and can add on to my paypal account where I can renew my domain name for 2 to 3 years more.

Hahahaha...since no one has been blogging for a while, i shall start the ball rolling again with an update on my life...

My promos results were alright i guess. But the interesting thing was that my grades improved (by 10.93%, to be exact)even after officially taking up a second CCA (Swimming)around July. My schedule used to be Lifeguard (on Tuesday, Thursday) and Swimming (on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) in addition to coping with the syllabus content of Semester 2.

My reason: I work better under stress (a.k.a. i procrastinate alot). If i didn't have such extra activities, i would have probably been sitting at home watching TV or using the computer.

So it seems that i really AM more efficient under pressure and that my output seems to be proportionate to stress levels. Hahaha...and yes, i laughed to myself for such warped logic.

So even though my holidays have begun, i have decided not to let the stress level drop just to confirm my hypothesis. CCAs schedule is still the same, except that Swimming is now on Monday too...so i'm practically in the water everyday.

In addition to that,...

I've taken up a part-time job...ahaha...mainly from 6pm to 10pm. The thing is, i must commit to a minimum of 6 months, which means it spills over to my JC2 year.

AND...

i was sabo-ed to being vice-captain of my house (which means that i have to be present at Planning Meetings and all house events)

AND...

the teacher made me the I/C of our class's food booth (for ACJC's funfair)because i seemed to be 'task-oriented'

AND...

i was confirmed to be an orientation group leader for ACJC orientation 2008

So in short, i think i've committed suicide by accepting 2 CCAs, 3 leadership responsibilities and a part-time job all in the year of my A levels. But like how steel is forged through fire and diamonds made through high heat and pressure, this process may teach me lessons, equip me with skills and make me a stronger person.

Hmm...what do you think guys?

i think this week is gonna be one of the most exciting weeks of my post-promos programme. I've got a job interview at Fish & Co. @ Parkway Parade today, my project work practice oral presentation tomorrow and my OGL interview on Friday plus the release of my promos results. ahahaha...anyone got a remedy for insomnia? I've been too excited to sleep lately...ahahaha

i think i'm gonna be even busy this holiday with A level Project Work, A Level Chinese, two CCAs and a job. ahahaha...but i guess such a challenge would be exciting...cheap thrill!

been long since we all catch up yea? hows school and everything? bet everyones getting really busy with school workloads! [mines like piling up into a mountain alr! =(]

i went back to indo after o level and spent 7 useless months there before school starts in august for me. well basically i sleep, eat and shop most of the time in indo. and please pardon my bad english, havnt been using them for quite a while. hahaha.

like what eldon said, whatever i learnt in secondary school is quite useless for me also. but my workload is crazy! its comparable to the jc peeps okay! sleeping at 4am is a normal thing for me now. even if i can sleep at 2am, i thank god already man. but then i managed to do a bit of catching up in my sleep recently! haha! had one week break last week and it was the most enjoyable week after 2 months of hell. blahblahh... not gonna bore u guys about how cruel my school towards their pathetic students and everything, its not that interesting anyway. hahhaaa/

so anyways! do let me know if theres any gathering okay! =D

Ahahahahaha...Eldon's photo looks...cute? And yes, i think we can still recognise you! i heard that there is this poly that gives out money (like $100+) to those who attain the minimum grade for PFT or something...is it true? i think its their way of encouraging their students to stay fit.

Haha...do polys have Open Houses?? I'm visiting friends' JC's Open Houses for fun...wearing a sec school uniform and acting n00b. Ahahahaha.

Geylang east swimming complex is...weird. the water is all warm and salty. And there are so many kids running about...hmm...hahahaha!

And bev, a parking ticket seems cool from over here! Ahahahaha...how's the driving experiencing and finally driving on the "right" side of the road???

Yo guys!Long time no see!( although i see Wayne, Ying Ling & Li Xuan every wk......) Anyway good to hear from some MIAs......

Ah......with the promos just over.....taking a slight breather..........though tml i hav to rush PW already...( lucky no meeting tml!- which means more Hayate no Gotoku tml!)

As usual, my mum is staring at the screen and im up with more anime..........jus had a great laugh from Hayate no Gotoku.......a mus watch if u lov comedy........the guy is a loser!( somehow he feels like me......though im not as unlucky as he is......or so i think....)

Yup...was walking on the street was my thoughts got triggered by some anime(shakugan no shana for the interested).........was wondering about my existence and whether would anyone rmb my existence......it surely is sad to be forgotten...esp by ppl u care for a lot.....but then again.....to me.......like Yuji in the show.........as long as i made a difference to their lives it probably dont matter.......

Anyway, it seems that with this blog that wont come true......anyway, hoping to see everyone real soon......told ying ling that the class bbq mus be organised no matter wat....... my friends and i had a crazy sleepover and i almost fell sick from the lack of sleep.

Yay! My promos are finally over. Went out to Orchard to celebrate with my friends today and get to taste the most tiring shopping experience ever.

BTW, the holidays in JC are the same as secondary school. Just follow the calendar. However, do make note of some important dates like 17 Oct (submission of PW written report) when we will be extremely busy...

Oh yes... How come people like Kah Sin and Xiao Wei are not blogging in our class blog? Where are they?

hi Everyoneeeeeeeee,

Firstly, you guys have to change the chalet dates. I'm coming home this winter!!! Finally, after a year away from home.

College life is not that fun after all. Chemistry is such a killer... lab twice a week... quizzes, exams, midterm, finals. Calculus is hell, but at least i still have my tennis class.

I still havent decide on my major yet. I might wanna go to medical school or dentistry. ok ok... hope you guys are still breathing. Yes, I wanna be a doctor even though its insanely hard. lam and loh will be so proud. haha...

Studies here is not as easy as you guys think. It is way harder than what we have back in singapore. Believe me... i have to score 90% to get an A, 80% B, 70% C... below than that, you fail the class. And imagining studying Olevel Amath in 16 weeks, with the content 2 times harder... I almost died.

Well, hope all of you guys are doing well. Life here is pretty much going out to restaurants, movies, shopping and chillin' with friends. Anywaz, i have no more chance doing stupid stuff in school. Thats sad...

may i suggest we do it sometime in dec... when poly students have their term break and where jc students are having holidays....
I'm not sure about the rest of the polys but... for nyp... the scheduled holiday in dec is from 7th to the 21st if i'm not wrong....
So... i think it might be a good time to do it then... maybe we could even exchange christmas presents... xD

All of a sudden, I missed Ms Lam and her biology lessons so much. I'm so glad that I was the Biology rep last year. What a pity that I didn't take Biology. *sigh* Sometimes I wonder why didn't I take Biology in the first place... *sigh* There are so many formulas, graphs and definitions to memorise for my Physics promos... Hope I can remember all of them during the exams...

Hi guys....

How are you all coping up in JC/Poly?
I hope u guys are doing fine... Especially the JC-ians who are having their promos now yea? Or maybe some of your promos are over... But... nevertheless... to those who still having promos.... Jiayouz and all the best!

Btw Wayne... I think u really helped me out alot last year... I mean... without your help... I dunno wad would have happened... so I wanna say thanks... Just dun live in regrets... What's done most of the time... can't be undone... Although I really would like to carry out what I proposed to the Principal... but... due to time constraints and such... I din really make it... so... ya... Like what someone in a movie said... "Life is simple, you make choices and don't look back."

So with that i would like to encourage you guys... Just do your best... and leave no regrets.

hey everyone!

waaaa...thanks, xiaocheng, for creating this platform for us...although i got a strange feeling that it may soon be deserted like our favourite teacher's blog...haha

but what a coincidence, that a fragment of my past is to catch up with me tonight! But for a long time already, there has been this horrible feeling eating me from the inside out- the feeling of regret.

i guess the change in environment has given me a new take on life and has allowed me to reflect on my past actions. And now i have realised, abeit too late, that i failed as your vice-head prefect last year.

i guess for the entire year last year, i was focusing too much on my past, on myself, on the mundane cycle of morning and assembly duties that i failed to realise the true meaning behind the word, 'leader'. Although i know that you guys did not choose me to be your representatives due to the undemocratic processes of prefectorial selection, but i still had the power...the power to bring about change. How many people get such a shot? Not many. But I did...and i blew it.

I look back now and the two words, "what if", mark the beginning of my every thought. There was so much more that i could have done to make the lives of you guys (including our teachers) better. And the worst part was, that for all 365 days of 2006, i went through each and every day without realising this.

Whenever i go back to our old school, my heart cries out to God in regret. I look around me at all the familiar faces and i ask myself, "what if i could have done something to make their day at school better?", "what if i could have helped the school develop his potential as a student and even a leader to his fullest potential".

i was selfish and short-sighted and for all of that...

i'm sorry.

so as all of you go out to be leaders in your respective schools and workplace, i just want to wish all of you, my friends, the very best.
